A sportier, faster and more youth friendly version of the Swift, called Suzuki Swift Sport, is headed into production. Based on the recently successful Swift model for 2011, this variant includes a more powerful engine and great design features.Swift Sport, like the predecessor, has a hatchback with ample amounts of cargo room. Suzuki says its new car has "a more aggressive and dignified exterior look," due to its lower-slung profile. This gives it a "sense of stability and tension," along its wider front grille.1
The cabin combines "sportiness with a high-quality look and feel," and design features that the company says will "heighten excitement about the driving experience."2Higher power and lower fuel consumption for the Swift Sport delivered by the 1.6-liter engine was specifically developed for this model. The engine is mated to another 'model specific' six-speed manual transmission, and results in a performance that the auto maker says is exciting and environmentally responsible.Driver and passenger safety are taken care of thanks to the Swift Sport's impact-absorbing body, seven airbags throughout and electronic stability system.
