The GMC Terrain was at 2012's New York Auto Show, but you may not have realized as it was seen in a much different form. GMC recently announced that they would extend their popular Denali trim to other models, which obviously includes their best selling Terrain from Ferguson Superstore located at 1501 N Elm Place Broken Arrow, OK 74012. Many were excited to hear this, including those who got to see the event live in NYC.
2013's Terrain hit the auto show with two engines: A 3.6-liter V6 (producing 301 horsepower and 272 lb-ft of torque) as well as a 2.4-liter four-cylinder. Both connect to six-speed automatic transmissions, with front-or-all-wheel-drive available upon purchase.
Something else Denali gave to Terrain is chrome, lots of it. Shiny chrome mesh grille is found up front, along with mirror caps, fog lights, door trim, and rear tailgate trim. You'll see the model come from a mile away.
Oh, and the wheels also have chrome plating, sizing up with 18-inch alloys. There's an integrated dual exhaust down below, too.
Inside, GMC Terrain Denali comes with soft-touch leather trim, leather steering wheel with "smoked mahogany wood accents." There's wood trim accents throughout the interior, except on the eight-way adjustable leather seating.1
Added safety features for the Denali trim include forward collision alert, lane departure warning, as well as blind spot and traffic alert systems. Basically, your GMC Terrain is made almost invincible when Denali extras are brought onboard.
